Intro to Meditation Course

This is a live and interactive video chat course with a small class size of around 10 students (sometimes less). The course explores meditation utilizing the Shamatha-Vipassana style as described in The Mind Illuminated by Upasaka Culadasa and is especially geared towards anyone in stages 1 to 4 of TMI.  While the primary focus is seated breath meditation, other practices are explored including Metta (loving-kindness) and walking meditation. The course is a great way to inspire and inform your meditation, with the ultimate goal of establishing a consistent and rewarding practice. Each week, you will receive tutoring and feedback tailored specifically to your practice.

Dates:  Tuesdays,  March 12th – April 16th, 2019

Times:  There are two separate class times to accommodate both Eastern and Western Hemispheres.  Simply choose the one that works best for you.

Course 1: 8:30 PM EDT (New York) / 5:30 PM Pacific (San Francisco)
Course 2:  6 PM London Time

Each class lasts 1.5 hours.  

Cost: $160 – no one will be turned away due to inability to pay
